Hail Development Authority is organizing a workshop titled 'The Competitiveness Report 2022 and Development Levels in the Region.' This workshop focuses on assessing the competitiveness of the region and its developmental stages.

Today, Hail Development Authority held a workshop to discuss the Competitiveness Report for the year 2022 and review the development levels in the region. The workshop was attended by Engineer Ahmed bin Talal Nafi, Assistant Minister for Regional Development in the Ministry of Economy and Planning, as well as officials from Hail Development Authority.

Omar bin Abdullah Al-Abduljabbar, the CEO of Hail Development Authority, explained that the workshop was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Planning to enhance partnerships and integration between government sectors. This collaboration aims to support the sustainability of the development process in the region. He emphasized the commitment of Hail's Amir, who is also the head of the Council of Hail Development Authority, to continue coordination and alignment between all government sectors in the region. This alignment is essential to contribute to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and to continue the development journey in the region.

During the workshop, participants reviewed the general principles of regional strategies, discussed the Competitiveness Report for Hail, presented detailed results and asset analysis, and discussed development levels and the composite indicator results. They also explored proposals for integration and collaboration in the annual update of the report, highlighting the importance of ongoing collaboration to update the Competitiveness Studies for the region and include the Composite Development Index in these studies to support the regional development planning process in Hail.
