HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Hail Region and Chairman of the Development Authority, presided over a meeting today at his office to discuss the preparation of a regional plan for the city of Hail and the local plans for the provinces. The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of Hail Development Authority, Omar bin Abdullah Al-Abduljabbar, and several administrative leaders from the authority and the consulting company responsible for the project.
HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad discussed the project's phases with the Executive Director, including the study of the current situation, scenario development, and the selection of suitable alternatives to achieve developmental goals and align them with national objectives to contribute to the establishment of more comprehensive development frameworks in coordination with relevant authorities.
Dr. Mohammad bin Hassan Al-Qarni, the Director-General of the General Directorate for Planning and Urban Development at the authority, explained that the project aims to create a comprehensive vision and an organizational and executive framework to guide sustainable development and manage future growth directions, addressing all urban issues. This will build a development strategy that enhances the community's quality of life and defines the required investments in infrastructure, as well as programs, initiatives, and incentive projects that contribute to guiding and organizing urban development in the region.
