His Highness the Emir of Hail Region, Chairman of the Authority’s Council, meets with representatives of the tourism system in the presence of the Authority’s CEO and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for Human Capacity Development

His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Hail Region, Chairman of the Authority’s Council, met with representatives of the tourism system in the region, in the presence of the Authority’s CEO, Mr. Omar Al-Abdul-Jabbar, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for Human Capacity Development, Ms. Hind Al-Zahid

During the meeting, His Highness the Emir of the Hail region was briefed on the efforts made by the tourism system in the region, and the services it provides to develop the tourism sector and enhance Hail’s position as a distinguished tourist destination. His Highness also discussed with the attendees ways to develop the tourism sector in the region, and its role in developing tourism human capabilities and providing job opportunities for young people

His Highness the Emir of the Hail Region stressed the importance of joint work between all concerned parties to develop the tourism sector in the region, noting that tourism is one of the most important tributaries of the national economy, and has a major role in the development of local communities

For his part, the CEO of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, Mr. Omar Al-Abdul-Jabbar, indicated that the Commission is working to enhance cooperation with various parties in the Hail region to develop the tourism sector, support tourism facilities, and provide training and qualification for workers in the sector

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Tourism for Human Capacity Development, Professor Hind Al Zahid, also stressed the Ministry’s interest in developing human capabilities in the tourism sector, through the training and qualification programs provided by the Ministry, noting that the Ministry is working to strengthen the partnership with the private sector to develop these programs

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Highness the Emir of Hail thanked all those present for their efforts in developing the tourism sector in the region, stressing his full support for the tourism system in Hail
